IF I DIED TOMORROW

~If I Died Tomorrow~

If I died tomorrow,
would you weep for me?
Would you shed a tear
or just stand there silently?

Would it even hurt you,
If tomorrow I was gone?
Would life be better?
Would you act like nothing's wrong?

If I said I'd always love you
In this life and beyond
Would you really miss me?
Or to someone new would you move on?

Would you promise to have love for me
Until the end of time?
Would you just forget me?
Erase my memory from your mind?

If I died tomorrow,
Would you weep for me?
Would you shed a tear?
Or just stand there silently?

If tomorrow I was gone
Would you be happy to be free?
If I died tomorrow
Would you weep for me

STEPPING OUT ON FAITH

Everyday we step out on faith, whether we choose to believe if not. Whether your religion is Christian or Muslim. Even Wiccan or Pagan. We step out with the hopes of stepping back in. Faithfully believing that the turmoils of the world will not consume us. Faithfully believing that good will over come evil. I am a firm believer. I believe the Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I believe that he died on that cross, and doubtfully paid for my sins. Because of my beliefs, I have faith. Faith that my beliefs are not in vain. Faith that even though I do not always walk the straightest path I will somehow stay on course. Faith that my good deeds do not go unnoticed. And faith love will conquer all as I swiftly approach wedlock. I stay physically fit through various means of exercise. Push ups and pull ups keeps me looking half decent, at least I'd like to think that. But it is faith that keeps me spiritually fit. Faith through tithing. Faith through prayer. Faith through believing.

I Could Sure Use A Beverage...

Last night I just kind of perused the vast Twitterverse. Exploring the contrast of every single galactic tweet. I soon discovered there was a famine of genuine, heartfelt compliments being handed out. Women were not receiving the proper courtship. Not a single lady was placed on any of the pedestals that I observed during my escapade through Twitterville. The male species was engaged in heated debates over important issues like Lebron's hairline, The various cup sizes they would love to have abundantly placed in their faces, and somehow "Free Boosie" snuck it's way into the mix. Don't get me wrong, all of these issues are equally important, but I began to wonder about the male barometer. Have we been some consumed by Waka Flocka that we have forgotten the measure of our women? Our do we now expect our women to go to bat with us over the ongoing debate of King Lebron's retreating hairline? Now ladies before you assume that this session is just an insert from the "Think Like A Man" book, take an extended look in the mirror. Once you get past the MAC lip gloss, which so elegantly accent your duck lip avatars on twitter, what do you really see? Do you see the same strong, beautiful, and God-fearing specimens that I see? I hope so. But are you too strong? Have you become so wrapped up in the many nuances of the world that you have forgotten how to receive a simple compliment? Now that those pertinent questions have been presented, let's cross-examine the tweets of the women folk. Again, on my perusal of the vast Twitterverse, I noticed that women had taken such a simple word and has make it more powerful beyond imagination. That word, boys and girls, is THIRST! When i think of thirst my mind is telling me that "I could sure use a beverage." But women have remolded this simple word to be very degrading. Compliments are now labeled as thirst. How dare you women have such beautiful bodies, and yet a man is not allowed to compliment you on it? Ladies, all compliments are not thirst. All gestures are not full of malice. Please give us the ability to describe our bodies need for a drink as thirsty back. Because...I Sure Could Use A Beverage.

The Not So Grand Introduction

Hello. The name is Tharius. Feel free to call me Penny, as most of my friends do. This is the unofficial but official introduction to my life. I am extremely new to the blogging scene, so try not to label me as "uncool" just yet. Throughout the course of 24 hours I have many random thoughts. Some of which will make the blog spot, and others...well, we'll see! But be patient with me as I adjust to this change in lifestyle. Hopefully I can make some of you smile with me, cry with me, and rejoice with me. So...here we go!
